We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working Principal Surveyor to our small but busy Estates Service. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team to undertake a varied professional caseload which would include valuation, L&T, acquisitions and disposals, property review and other estate management matters. It is envisaged that the postholder will also lead on the management of the Council's three managed workspace properties and the annual asset valuation programme.

You will be an enthusiastic and flexible team player who is also able to work on your own initiative and manage your own caseload. As a Fellow or Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors you will have a wide range of experience including a knowledge of current legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. The team is based in the award winning offices of Number One Riverside adjacent to the new Riverside retail and leisure complex in the heart of Rochdale town centre. We offer a generous annual leave entitlement, access to the local government pension scheme and access to the employee benefit scheme Vivup. Whilst there is an expectation of some office working there are opportunities for hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
