Raise Rochdale Pupil Referral Service provides a supportive, nurturing, and highly personalised learning environment for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education. We are looking for committed and resilient Teaching Assistants to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support to achieve their full potential. Raise Rochdale PRS is currently based over three sites. Candidates can be based at any of these sites although preference will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across a range of subjects
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning programmes
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Help manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies and restorative approaches
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Support teachers in preparing resources and adapting activities
  • Contribute to monitoring student progress and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, and external agencies
