If you have the character and personality to inspire our students and get them excited about their future, this is a great opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive pastoral team. Newhouse Academy is looking for a Non‑teaching Head of Year who is, as we describe, one of “Our People”.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture a supportive community among colleagues and students.
  • Focus on student wellbeing and achievement, providing stability and guidance for success.
  • Prioritise character and personal development, believing that new skills can always be learned.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time plus 1 week

Salary: Scale Points 23‑30 (Actual salary £30,073 to £35,613, dependent on experience)

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: As soon as possible (upon receipt of satisfactory pre‑employment checks)
