External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale (i.e where the household pays council tax to Rochdale Borough Council). We have both part time and full time roles available, working 37 hours & 24 hours per week.

We are looking for dynamic and forward thinking individuals to join our team as an Initial Triage Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the implementation of our Prevention & Digital Strategic plan, which aims to build digital inclusion across adult care. The team is responsible for the provision of Assistive Technology including Careline and looking at alternative methods that could delay the need for care and support across Rochdale, enabling them to live healthier for longer.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to be part of the front door team for all new contacts coming into adult care. You will focus on delaying and reducing care and support needs by supporting the front door with signposting and providing information. This role is in an exciting team, which will be delivering and testing a range of existing and new initiatives. This role will include working alongside other roles within the prevention team, specifically working within the Front Door and Careline functions.

The successful post holder will be expected to undertake a certain amount of travelling in the course of their duties and will be required to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the service.
