We are seeking enthusiastic, committed, and proactive individuals to serve as Casual Residential Child Care Workers across our Children's Homes in Rochdale. We value a positive attitude, adaptability, and flexibility. The role can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding. Our children and young people require the best care, love, nurture, and guidance to help them overcome early life experiences and develop resilience and skills for their present and future lives.

Our model of care is based on Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy). All workers complete Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training. We seek individuals who will be positive role models and committed to safeguarding and promoting the physical and emotional health of our children and young people.

You must be over 21 years old, have at least 1 year of experience working with children and young people, and hold an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent. This position requires the ability to converse confidently in English, as per Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. This casual role involves working days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. Casual User Car Allowance is payable. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, including a barred list check against the child workforce.
