The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale (i.e where the household pays council tax to Rochdale Borough Council).

Facilities Management are looking to recruit conscientious and reliable Casual Kitchen Cleaners to join our friendly team of catering assistants within our primary schools throughout the Borough (Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood, Oldham, Littleborough areas).

Duties will include:

  • Dishwashing
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen areas as directed
  • Setting up of the dining room tables, chairs, cutlery etc.
  • Loading & unloading dishwashers
  • Assisting the kitchen supervisor as required

Cover will be based at different schools in different locations throughout the Borough. Cover will be required term time only and over the lunch-time period. Hours approx. between 11-2pm.

Full Uniform/PPE is provided. Appointment to this post is subject to full enhanced DBS and background checks. Health and safety regulations must be strictly adhered to.
