For external candidates to be eligible to apply for this post you must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale.

Facilities Management are looking to recruit conscientious and reliable staff to join our friendly team of casual cleaners to work in our Schools and Public Buildings throughout the Borough for short and long-term across your preferred area (Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood and Littleborough).

Hours are usually depending on the placements and are varying shifts between the hours of 6.30am - 8.30am & 3.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday and may include some occasional weekends. £12.60 per hour - local living wage.

General cleaning duties to include:

  • vacuuming
  • brush sweeping
  • mopping
  • dusting
  • polishing
  • buffing
  • toilet cleaning
  • sanitizing touch areas

Experience is desirable but full training will be given.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain a more permanent cleaning operative role, giving you an insight and experience into the job with Facilities Management.

Appointment to this post is subject to enhanced DBS and background checks. Health and safety regulations must be strictly adhered to.
