External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale. The Highways, Property & Business Support Team within Economy and Place Directorate are seeking to recruit to this full time position. The successful candidate will assist and support this very busy and diverse team to deliver all administrative, financial and corporate tasks efficiently and effectively across all service areas, to include providing cover as required for the Property Services Helpdesk (cover required from 8.30am to 16.30pm Monday to Friday).
The main duties include:
- Dealing with phone calls and emails for respective service areas
- Liaising with other Council Services, Schools, Suppliers and Contractors
- Logging, updating and processing information in the in-service and corporate databases
- Financial tasks such as raising purchase orders, processing and raising invoices
- General administrative duties as required
