About Us
Rochdale Youth Service are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to work with young people in youth club and detached (street based) settings; to assist in delivery of innovative and creative issue-based youth sessions. We are looking for someone energetic with a strong understanding of local needs, who is passionate about empowering young people and supporting community-based improvement through youth-led youth work methods.
Prior experience of working with young people in a youth work setting is preferred, either in a voluntary or paid capacity.
The Right Candidate Will have the ability to critically evaluate their past experience of working with young people, with the aim of continually improving their performance as a youth worker in order to deliver the best service possible for young people. Training and qualifications in Youth Work may be available to successful candidates. Some travel may be required as per the needs of the service. Candidates must be willing to work flexibly to meet Service needs, including working evenings and weekends on occasion.
