We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Plumber to join our Repairs service. As a Multi Trade Plumber you will carry out all aspects of property repairs & maintenance as defined by your primary trade and associated work.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Holds a recognised Plumbing qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
- Has previous experience of working within a repairs & maintenance service, preferably relating to a domestic property portfolio.
- Has excellent multi-trade ability, knowledge and experience and a willingness to apply these attributes to the requirements of the RBH repairs & maintenance service—for example, tiling, plastering and joinery ability.
- Ability to receive, understand and react in a timely manner to verbal (telephone), electronic (mobile device) and written instructions (work orders).
- Supervise and control apprentices, training and guiding them in the standards expected by the society and always ensuring they work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in the emergency repairs call‑out service, involving working outside normal hours as and when required (primarily within plumbing).
- Duties may vary.
- Be responsible for materials & equipment held in society vehicle and guard against loss or theft.
