Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is seeking an IT Application Services Manager to lead the performance, stability, and continual improvement of our business-critical application estate. This is a key leadership role within our IT function, responsible for ensuring that systems such as the housing management, CRM, and digital platforms are reliable, secure, and deliver a high-quality user experience for colleagues and customers. Working alongside our Technical Delivery Lead, you will act as the operational lead for application services, ensuring that change is successfully transitioned into BAU and that services are well-managed, supportable, and aligned to business needs.
Responsibilities
- Own the day‑to‑day performance and availability of RBH's application services
- Lead and develop the Applications team, ensuring a strong service‑first culture
- Manage support, incident resolution, and service improvement
- Manage supplier performance and operational relationships
- Establish and embed service governance, KPIs, and reporting
