At Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), we have a great opportunity for an Income Manager to join our Neighbourhoods Income Services Team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Income Team, ensuring performance improvement and delivery against KPIs and service standards.
What you will be doing:
- Work with colleagues across RBH and develop strong external partnerships to ensure the Society has an effective approach to income collection and arrears reduction.
- Day to day management of the Income Team, including 121s, performance discussions and other line management responsibilities as required.
- Recruit, train, develop and support direct reports in line with RBH policies and procedures.
- Carry out thorough case reviews to ensure all actions on arrears cases are carried out in a timely manner in order to improve performance.
- Create, develop and maintain systems, procedures and other requirements for the effective running of the service and business.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of housing management, housing legislation (particularly with respect to possession proceedings), welfare issues and legislation.
- Experience of effective performance management and improvement.
- Chartered Institute of Housing qualification.
- Ability to develop and maintain financial information systems, processes and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of the working of an arrears recovery I.T systems (e.g. IBS, Orchard, Northgate etc.).
- Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce documents to a professional and accurate standard.
- A commitment to the values and mission of RBH, with a passion for promoting social inclusion and sustainable communities.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
