At Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), we have a great opportunity for an Income Manager to join our Neighbourhoods Income Services Team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Income Team, ensuring performance improvement and delivery against KPIs and service standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with colleagues across RBH and develop strong external partnerships to ensure the Society has an effective approach to income collection and arrears reduction.
  • Day to day management of the Income Team, including 121s, performance discussions and other line management responsibilities as required.
  • Recruit, train, develop and support direct reports in line with RBH policies and procedures.
  • Carry out thorough case reviews to ensure all actions on arrears cases are carried out in a timely manner in order to improve performance.
  • Create, develop and maintain systems, procedures and other requirements for the effective running of the service and business.

Who are we looking for?

Experience, knowledge and understanding of housing management, housing legislation (particularly with respect to possession proceedings), welfare issues and legislation. Experience of effective performance management.
