We have an exciting new vacancy available for a Data Protection and Risk Analyst to join our Risk and Compliance team!
As a part of the risk and compliance team you will work to maintain the RBH data protection framework and assist in corporate risk management. You will be the first contact for enquiries from the organisation about data protection and will promote the importance of data protection across RBH. You will also be involved in the wider assurance and risk management activity undertaken across RBH, working with colleagues from across the business to ensure we are managing our risk effectively.
What are we looking for?
- A good working knowledge of data protection and knowledge of privacy regulation and information governance standards and systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with customers including external stakeholders to arrange and meet challenging time bound objectives.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to forward plan, balance priorities and co-ordinate projects.
- Possess a high standard of data and information literacy with excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce documents and reports to a high standard.
- The ability to find innovative solutions and to adapt and prioritise deadlines with competing tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Positively embrace change, and is adaptable to the ever changing social housing sector.
- The ability to understand discussions in a debating forum and to summarise them and accurately record the decisions in writing.
- The ability to set and maintain high standards for all matters relating to RBH data protection and risk.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
