We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our highly ambitious and successful Wellbeing Team. This is a vital role in our school and integral to strengthening the partnership between home and school, ensuring that every child has the support they need to learn, grow and succeed.
The successful candidate will work closely with families, children, and staff to provide early help, guidance, and practical support. Our Family Support Worker will be an essential member of our attendance team and will work closely with the Children’s Welfare Officer to ensure our attendance strategy is delivered consistently. You will build positive relationships with parents and carers, promote pupil wellbeing, and help reduce barriers to learning.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, empathetic, and highly skilled in engaging families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication, problem-solving, resilience and safeguarding awareness are essential skills for this role.
