About the Role

Salary: £31,067 to £34,314 per annum plus a potential to earn up to £3K per annum

Grade: 6

Working Hours: We have both full and part-time positions available (which includes working evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties)

Full time positions equate to 148 hours over a 4 week period

Part time positions equate to 74 hours over a 4 week period

As a part of this transformation, we are expanding our Children’s Residential Service and opening up two new homes for children and young people aged from 8-17, with social and emotional needs and difficulties.

We ask that you have a positive attitude and outlook and have the ability to be both flexible and adaptable to meet the needs and difficulties of the children and young people we are caring for.

Our children and young people in all our homes need care, love, nurture, and guidance to help them on the route they take in life, and to help them to work through the difficulties they may have experienced or are currently experiencing.

The children need committed and dependable individuals who will go above and beyond to safeguard them and promote their emotional health and wellbeing.

There are real opportunities for your personal and professional development and our training offer in Rochdale is second to none, including completing the Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training programme, which is the foundation of our ‘Model of Care’.

You must be over 21 years of age and have at least 1 year’s experience working with Children and Young People. It is preferable that you are qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent, but don’t worry if you don’t, as we will support you to obtain this qualification as part of your ongoing training and development.
