Your key responsibilities:
- Support our Chief Engineer in managing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance & engineering department to ensure we are fully compliant.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction are constantly achieved.
- Take pride in delivering exceptional maintenance services.
- The successful candidate will assist in maintaining building systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting health & safety standards across the building.
- Ensure emergency lighting is tested and maintained in line with the regulations.
- Have a good understanding of Legionella awareness and health and safety legislation.
- Supervising & Coordinating preventive maintenance work, regular safety, and maintenance inspections across the hotel.
- Under the guidance of our Chief Engineer, you will coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure efficient and high-quality service is delivered.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure safe and smooth hotel operations.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven 3 years of experience as an assistant maintenance engineer in a luxury hotel environment.
- Computer literate with experience in using maintenance management systems.
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as air conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration, and boilers.
- Commitment to deliver excellence.
