Our hotel The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel's majestic clock defines the city's skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for delivering an unforgettable stay for our guests.
  • Deal with guest requests, check guests in and out, answer any telephone enquiries.
  • Deliver a discreet service that exceeds the exceptional standards set by Rocco Forte Hotels.
  • Be the confident face behind the reception desk and the first point of contact between guests and the hotel.
  • Have previous experience from within a luxury service environment (preferred).
  • Have an excellent understanding of the 5-star hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
