Location: Carlisle, CA1 2TU

Pay: £14.25 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)

Contract: Temporary Immediate Start Available

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working a shift rota including some weekends

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a dedicated Young People's Homelessness Service in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people to build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one support to young residents, helping them overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes. The role is primarily office-based, with a strong focus on support planning, administration, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support tailored to each young person's individual needs
  • Support residents to access education, training, and employment opportunities
  • Encourage the development of independent living skills
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Complete support plans and other administrative tasks
