Rocasa Consulting are supporting a large Housing Association with an Interim Facilities Assistant role based in North Somerset working 37.5 hours per week Mon - Fri paying up to £18.74ph via Umbrella.

To provide day to day operational FM services to colleagues and visitors in this front facing customer-focused role:

  • To ensure the facilities are safe, clean, well-stocked, suitably maintained, well presented and comfortable at all times.
  • To ensure a consistent approach to FM is applied, that colleagues can expect as the standard across all office sites.
  • Conduct regular daily/weekly checks to ensure the offices are clean, safe, secure, well presented, and fully stocked, taking corrective action when required.
  • Ensure meeting bookings are administered efficiently and that rooms are neat, tidy and equipped as required.
  • Support the efficient running of the post room and associated arrangements.
  • Proactively identify and report any maintenance issues to the relevant party (landlord or contractor) and liaise closely with any affected colleagues.
  • Oversee planned maintenance, ensuring it is carried out safely in accordance with risk assessments and method statements provided in advance of any visits.
  • Following security protocol, issue security passes to colleagues, visitors and contractors.
  • Ensure FM activities are conducted in such a way as to limit our negative impact on the environment.

You will require the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a customer facing role.
  • Driving License.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Competent in a range of IT packages (including MS Office, particularly Excel).
  • Confident communicator.
  • Highly organised.
  • Basic repairs and maintenance skills.
  • Positive and proactive approach to work.
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to deliver against goals and deadlines.
