Rocasa Consulting Limited are looking to recruit a Temporary Sheltered Housing Officer in Evesham to cover 2 sites across Worcester for 4 - 8 weeks paying up to Β£16.15 per hour plus mileage.
To effectively manage referrals, offers, complete tenancy sign ups, process terminations, void checks and undertake new tenancy visits.
Liaise with local authority housing and social services and other stakeholder statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure the timely allocation of properties.
Hold weekly customer surgeries to deal with housing related queries.
Carry out regular monitoring inspections at schemes including routine health and safety checks.
Undertake Tenancy Audit visits according to target and gathering customer data to inform the QL customer relationship management system.
Complete CORE monitoring data.
Work with the Income Team to ensure that income collection is maintained in accordance with set targets.
Keep up to date with Government and local initiatives, regulations and legislative changes and guidance relevant to projects and services.
Ensure prompt and efficient turnaround of tenancies to keep rent loss to a minimum.
Develop and sustain effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders and represent the organisation in a positive manner to ensure positive outcomes.
Make best use of available technology and work in an agile way to ensure the highest levels of customer service.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver services that put the customer at the heart of delivery.
Monitor the quality-of-service charge funded services.
Deliver a variety of inclusive and effective customer involvement opportunities to ensure customers influence services.
Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with customers, contractors, outside agencies, and colleagues.
Identify, plan, and implement health and wellbeing plans for vulnerable customers with their agreement and initiate changes to the plan in line with changing customer needs and aspirations.
Undertake follow up casework and liaise with external agencies on behalf of customers.
You will need a Driving licence and access to a car and DBS Check on the update service, alongside previous experience in a similar role.
