Lead a Home. Shape a Service. Build a Legacy.
Most Registered Manager roles come with established systems, fixed processes, and limited scope to influence how a home is run. This isn't one of them.
We're looking for an ambitious Registered Manager to lead our flagship children's home and play a key role in building the future of our children's residential division. This is a rare opportunity to join at the beginning of a major growth journey, with the autonomy to shape culture, develop your team, influence decision-making, and implement your own vision for delivering outstanding care.
Backed by a well-established care group with over 30 years of success in adult care, you'll have the support, investment, and stability of an experienced organisation, without the restrictions often found in larger corporate providers.
Why This Role Is Different
- Genuine autonomy to lead and make decisions that matter
- Direct access to senior leadership with your voice heard and valued
- Opportunity to shape the home's culture, systems, and standards from day one
- Freedom to implement ideas without layers of corporate bureaucracy
- Fast-track progression as we expand our children's services across the region
The Role
You'll be responsible for the overall leadership, development, and performance of a two-bed EBD children's home, ensuring exceptional outcomes for young people while maintaining full compliance with Ofsted standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
- Building, developing, and inspiring a high-performing team
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
- Driving positive outcomes for children and young people
- Developing strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
- Contributing to the growth and future direction of our children's residential services
About You
We're looking for a confident and experienced leader who thrives on responsibility and wants more than just another management position.
You'll have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People's Services)
- Experience managing an EBD children's home or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and compliance systems
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Ambition to grow with a business that's investing heavily in its future
What We Offer
- Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- Clear progression to dual-registration and Regional Management opportunities
- Earning potential of £85,000+ as the group expands
- Support from experienced care leaders with decades of sector expertise
- The opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up
- A family-led organisation that values initiative, leadership, and results
