We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Health & Safety Manager to lead and continuously improve Rocs established Health & Safety Management System across our operational and site-based activities. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with operational teams, managers and clients to drive compliance, support safe delivery of work and strengthen a positive safety culture across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing the company’s Health & Safety Management System
  • Leading site inspections, audits and incident investigations
  • Reviewing and approving RAMS
  • Supporting ISO 45001 compliance and external accreditations
  • Delivering inductions, toolbox talks and safety training
  • Acting as a visible health and safety presence across sites and offices
  • Supporting clients, audits and tender submissions with H&S expertise

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a Health & Safety role within cabling, utilities, engineering or a similar operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and practical application
  • Experience with audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
