The Role
We are looking for an experienced Cabling Data Engineer to join our delivery team supporting projects based primarily at Gatwick. This is a hands-on, site-based role delivering structured cabling and data infrastructure works within live environments. You will play a key role in maintaining Roc's high engineering standards while ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
- Installation and termination of CAT5e / CAT6 / CAT6a / Fibre cabling
- Installing containment systems including tray, basket, trunking and conduit
- Testing, certification and fault finding using Fluke testers (or equivalent)
- Working to project drawings, RAMS and Roc Technologies quality standards
- Liaising with project managers, engineers and site stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data / Structured Cabling Engineer
- Strong copper and fibre installation and termination skills
- Experience working in live environments (commercial buildings, campuses, transport hubs or data centres)
- ECS or CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Fluke testing experience and certification
- IPAF / PASMA
