The day-to-day supervision of an installation team conducting works to deliver customer projects. Direct responsibility for the welfare of the engineering resource, ensuring installation documentation is completed, assisting with site surveys, RAMS, coordination plans and quotes. To work as part of the installation team carrying out works to deliver customer projects.
- Network cabinet installations.
- Primary & Secondary containment system installations.
- Installation of Cat6 or Cat6A horizontal cabling solutions.
- Termination, Testing & labelling of Cat6 / Cat6A solutions.
- Network switch installation.
- Copper patching.
- Installation of fibre optic cable both internally & via pit and duct routes as required.
- Termination, Testing & labelling of fibre optic cables.
- Fibre circuit patching & trouble shooting with the use of an OTDR.
