Roc Search’s client is a growing B2B SaaS company in the enterprise technology space, building a secure, scalable platform that integrates with core enterprise systems. Backed by recent investment, they are now entering a key scale-up phase.
They’re looking for a hands-on Technical Team Lead to own technical direction while remaining close to the code. This role would suit a Senior or Lead Engineer who has had some people-lead responsibility (even in a small team) and is looking to step into a broader leadership role.
The Role
- Combine architectural ownership with hands-on delivery, working closely with product leadership and guiding a growing engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the platform architecture
- Own decisions across Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Tooling, and Integrations
- Align technical direction with the product roadmap
- Help guide the Infrastructure from Azure Service Fabric to Kubernetes
- Contribute code, review work, and guide technical decisions
- Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
Experience Required
- API and enterprise identity integration experience
- Cloud expertise, ideally Azure
- Pragmatic, collaborative leadership style
- Strong experience with Kubernetes
- Experience scaling B2B SaaS platforms
- C#, .NET
- IAM / SSO experience is a plus
