We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major petrochemical project in North East Lincolnshire. This role focuses on inspecting and identifying civil and structural maintenance defects, including foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, and steel structures. You will collaborate closely with the delivery team to ensure accurate implementation of designs and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely set out civil and structural works-foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, steel structures
- Interpret and ensure compliance with technical drawings and design tolerances
- Coordinate daily with site supervisors, subcontractors, and project managers
- Perform as-built surveys and maintain detailed site progress records
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE, environmental, and COMAH standards
- Support QA and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) activities, ensuring full documentation
- Identify and report any structural defects, inputting information into the client\’s maintenance management system
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer in petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong foundation in civil and structural engineering principles
- Mandatory:
- CSCS card
- SSSTS/SMSTS certification
- Confined Space Training
