We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager to join a key client of ours in Somerset. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering managing Quality Management Systems. Please note my client cannot offer sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager will be taking control of the Quality process and dealing with any Quality issues with products using root cause analysis and investigating using problem solving quality methodology such as 8D.
- Liaise effectively with clients and customers to ensure Quality issues with products are resolved effectively.
- Support the Quality & Compliance Manager with the Quality Management Systems adhering to ISO 9001, 14001 and IATF16949.
Key Attributes
- At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering – open to experience but ideally in either Automotive, Aerospace, fabricated parts/components or general manufacturing.
- ISO9001 experience is essential – ISO14001 and IATF16949 is desirable and can be taught.
- Audit trained.
- Strong knowledge of Problem Solving methodology including 8D, 5why etc.
- Any knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP is highly beneficial.
