We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Engineer to join a key client in Lane End, High Wycombe. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a hands-on Production or Manufacturing role to be the go-between for the Design department and Production and Manufacturing team. Any experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering role previously who design for manufacture is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Production Engineer will be providing Engineering support across all aspects of the manufacturing operations and facilitating the handover from the Engineering and Design teams to the manufacturing department.
- Any experience in BOM’s and implementing any manufacturing documentation will be very helpful.
- Read and understand CAD drawings to either design Jigs & Fixtures as well as ensure that designs are feasible and can be manufactured correctly.
- Any machining or hands-on engineering skills will be very helpful – lathe, workshop tools, milling etc.
Key Attributes:
- Possess at least 2 years’ experience in a similar Production or Manufacturing role as an Engineer or Technician.
- Have experience working in a Manufacturing or Engineering company previously.
- Experience in reading CAD drawings.
