Are you a Quality Assurance Engineer who enjoys building robust automation frameworks and taking ownership of product quality from end to end? The Role: You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design, develop and maintain automated testing across web applications, APIs and backend services. This is a hands‑on position where you’ll have genuine ownership of the automation suite, helping to shape testing practices while contributing to a high-quality engineering culture.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain automated UI, API and service-level tests
- Create and maintain BDD test scenarios and automation frameworks
- Own end-to-end test coverage for key product areas
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Investigate test failures and raise clear, actionable defects
- Manage test environments and test data
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve software quality
- Contribute to regression testing and release confidence
- Help evolve testing practices across automation, performance and platform validation
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high-quality standards
What We’re Looking For: You’ll have experience in test automation and enjoy working in a collaborative engineering environment. Ideally you’ll have experience with:
- Playwright or similar UI automation frameworks
- Experience with Python API testing and REST services
- BDD and Gherkin methodologies
- GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms
- Docker and containerised development environments
- SQL databases and test data management
.NET, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, performance testing or AI-driven software would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
