Tank Recruitment are looking for a Marine Operative. Location: South Devon (with travel across UK project sites). We're working with a leading marine contractor seeking a Marine Operative to support a range of coastal and inshore projects across the UK, including marinas, piling, seawalls, and estuary works.
The Role
- Assist with marine construction and maintenance activities
- Support vessels, pontoons, and site operations
- Carry out manual handling, lifting, and equipment use
- Ensure all health & safety standards are followed
What We're Looking For
- Experience in marine or construction environments preferred
- Practical, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varied conditions
- Relevant certifications (CSCS, CPCS, marine tickets) beneficial
Location & Travel
- Ideally based in South Devon
- Candidates considered from Cornwall, Somerset, or nearby (within reasonable distance e.g. No further than Bristol/Bournemouth)
- When not on site, you’ll be based at the South Devon office
Package
- Salary dependent on experience, qualifications, and certifications
- Overtime available on projects
- All travel, accommodation, and subsistence fully covered and organised
