An exciting opportunity to join a specialist financial services firm advising private and institutional investors on underwriting portfolios. This small, agile business (under 50 people) is making its first dedicated data hire, giving you genuine end-to-end ownership of data from day one and the chance to shape reporting and analytics across the organisation.
The Role
You’ll lead the design and delivery of data and MI reporting, working closely with Syndicate and Compliance teams to elevate insight and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data & MI reporting systems
- Implementing BI solutions and improving analytics across the business
- Acting as the primary point of contact for data coordination
- Producing high-quality reports, dashboards, and data portals
- Building and maintaining data models and curated datasets
Technical Requirements
- Strong SQL
- Power BI
- Advanced Excel
- Financial services or insurance background is essential
Location & Package
Hybrid working: 3 days in a Central London office, 2 days from home
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum
Benefits:
- 15% employer pension contribution (no employee minimum)
- Discretionary 10% bonus
