We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing client on the South Coast! This would suit a candidate who is based close to Portsmouth or someone who is willing to relocate to the South Coast.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ + experience working in a Mechanical Design role designing Injection Moulded plastic parts and components or similar. Hybrid working after probation.
Key Responsibilities- Design injection moulded, die cast and similar parts for manufacture.
- This would suit someone who has designed any injection moulded parts in a fast paced industry.
- Technically assist the manufacturing department during the building of prototype samples.
- Understanding of Tolerances ideal.
- Proficient in 3D CAD with CATIA V5 being the preferred software. Will consider other CAD software packages such as Solidworks, Inventor, Creo etc.
- Automotive experience ideal but will consider backgrounds in consumer products, Medical Devices, FMCG other fast paced industries.
