An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of its quality and environmental management systems and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. This is a key position within the business, offering the opportunity to influence quality strategy, improve operational performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead internal and external audit activities.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality objectives and performance measures.
- Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business processes.
- Analyse quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain quality documentation, procedures and records.
- Work collaboratively with operational and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support wider compliance and health and safety initiatives across the business.
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management within a manufacturing or engineering environment and be passionate about driving high standards and continuous improvement. You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance position.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experience managing audits and quality management systems.
- Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving quality performance.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or related methodologies would be advantageous.
