We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Luton. This role would suit someone with a proven background working in a Mechanical Design role in a fast-paced environment with 5 years+ experience. Any experience in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, bespoke Machinery, Automation or similar would be preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion.
- Making modifications to existing designs.
- Liaising with production and manufacturing to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlines.
Key Attributes:
- Ideally experience designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, special purpose machinery or similar would be preferable.
- Solidworks is preferable but would consider another CAD package if someone has the industry related experience.
