I'm currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a high-profile automation project at the Runcorn manufacturing site. This is a 6-month contract (outside IR35), paying £350/day, with an immediate start available.
Project Scope:
- Delivery of automated Rigid cabinet assembly line installation and commissioning
- Mechanical & electrical removal/installation of existing and new equipment
- Integration with existing systems and infrastructure
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) / Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- CDM compliance and supplier RAMS review
- Full project lifecycle: planning – install – commissioning – ramp-up – handover
Experience Required:
- Strong background in automation, production line installation, and technical commissioning
- Comfortable working from technical drawings and supplier documentation
- Hands-on knowledge of dust extraction systems is a bonus
- Experience managing risk registers, snag lists, and CDM documentation
