Roc Search's client is seeking a Service Engineer to join their team based in Staffordshire. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the role involves aftermarket servicing, repairs, and commissioning of specialist equipment both at customer sites worldwide and in-house.

Please note that this role will include regular overtime, and International travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, testing, and live load testing of electrical equipment.
  • Measuring and recording resistance and insulation values.
  • Ensuring compliance with current electrical standards.
  • Documenting work and generating detailed technical reports.
  • Supporting product development and attending review meetings.
  • Commissioning new systems on-site globally (travel typically 5 days max per trip).
  • Assisting with production and rental equipment testing.
  • Providing technical support for urgent customer issues remotely.
  • Coordinating travel logistics (flights, hotels, hire vehicles).
  • Supporting warranty claims and customer troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Electrical Test/Inspection experience.
  • ECS Card.
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical Systems.
