Roc-Search's client is seeking a Senior Security Analyst.
Initial 3-month contract (inside IR35) with strong potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in London).
The role sits within a global Security Operations function, working as a key member of the team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats.
You'll operate and tune security tooling (SIEM, EDR, web/email gateways, cloud security platforms), support incident response and investigations, and ensure effective tracking from detection through to resolution.
You'll collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to improve the overall security posture and contribute to the ongoing development and scaling of the security operations capability.
Key experience includes incident response, defence-in-depth analysis, configuration and management of security tools, and troubleshooting security-related issues.
Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing/switching), operating systems, and security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability assessment tools is required.
Scripting experience (Python/Power Shell) and relevant certifications (or working towards) are a plus.
