We're partnering with a global engineering leader in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment sector to find a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a key technical role in the design and delivery of complex, high-performance systems used in advanced manufacturing environments. This is a senior-level, hands-on design role where you'll take ownership of mechanical engineering delivery across systems and subsystems, while also helping shape best practice across the wider engineering function.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading technical delivery of mechanical engineering across complex projects and subsystems
  • Driving best practice mechanical design (DfX: DFM, DFA, maintainability, etc.)
  • Supporting and guiding engineering work packages across cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring designs meet requirements, standards, compliance, and safety expectations by design
  • Acting as a technical role model, supporting junior engineers and improving consistency/quality
  • Contributing to delivery through milestones into production and volume manufacturing

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong background in mechanical design / product development
  • Advanced 3D
