The role: You’ll be responsible for the design of HV/EHV (11kV‑400kV) cable systems, from initial concept and costing through to detailed engineering and project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Design HV/EHV cable systems, including sizing and rating calculations
- Produce drawings, material schedules, and technical documentation
- Carry out installation, pulling tension, and loading calculations
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Support site visits, design reviews, and project delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with HV/EHV power systems (cables and/or substations)
- Strong design skills (AutoCAD, schematics, calculations)
