An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Portfolio Support Manager to join a growing organisation undergoing significant technology and business transformation. This role is ideal for a portfolio, PMO, or project governance professional who enjoys bringing structure, visibility, and control to complex change programmes while leading and developing a high-performing support team.
Essential skills required:
- Experience leading a PMO, Portfolio Support, or Project Support function within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
- Proven experience designing and implementing effective governance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar.
- A relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PMP, Agile certification, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
