We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join a high-quality electronics manufacturing environment for a client of ours in Southend On Sea.
Key duties include:
- Functional testing of board-level audio products
- Fault finding and repair down to component level
- Rework of single-sided and multi-layer PTH PCBs (through-hole & SMT)
- Creation and maintenance of test procedures with Design
- Technical support for test and production teams
- Providing clear technical feedback on PCB assemblies (90%+ fault-free target)
Key Attributes:
- Strong PCB fault-finding, testing and rework experience - 3 years+ ideal
- Ability to read schematics and understand analogue & digital circuits
- Good organisation and time management
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
