We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join a high-quality electronics manufacturing environment for a client of ours in Southend On Sea.

Key duties include:

  • Functional testing of board-level audio products
  • Fault finding and repair down to component level
  • Rework of single-sided and multi-layer PTH PCBs (through-hole & SMT)
  • Creation and maintenance of test procedures with Design
  • Technical support for test and production teams
  • Providing clear technical feedback on PCB assemblies (90%+ fault-free target)

Key Attributes:

  • Strong PCB fault-finding, testing and rework experience - 3 years+ ideal
  • Ability to read schematics and understand analogue & digital circuits
  • Good organisation and time management
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
