Join my client's team as a 2nd Line Support Engineer. Are you passionate about resolving complex IT challenges and delivering exceptional support? As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you'll serve as the crucial escalation point for intricate technical issues, ensuring swift and effective resolutions across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, cloud platforms, networking, and security. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting with ongoing system improvements, providing exposure to project work, root cause analysis, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll work closely with our Head of Technology to enhance service stability, security, and client satisfaction.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and cloud environments
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years in IT support, with 1-2 years in 2nd line roles
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security
  • Skilled in Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments
  • Solid networking fundamentals - firewalls, switches, VPNs
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Intune, security tooling, and MSP environments (desirable)
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ are a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to attend client sites in London and surrounding areas
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure Fundamentals, or similar are advantageous
