I'm currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer opportunity with a specialist manufacturer of high-precision machinery supplying advanced engineering and manufacturing sectors. This position would suit an electrically biased engineer with strong mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys a varied role supporting complex machinery and working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.

The role will involve:

  • Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting high-precision machinery
  • Electrical fault-finding alongside mechanical and pneumatic maintenance
  • Providing remote technical support and occasional on-site customer support
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvements
  • Writing service reports and supporting machine installations and maintenance activities

  • £38,000 - £45,000 salary + overtime
  • Primarily office/workshop based
