We are a growing engineering and technology business specialising in the installation, maintenance, and support of cash and contactless payment systems for public toilet facilities across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative access control technology, including payment systems, paddle gates, alpha gates, automated doors, and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits across customer sites
- Responding to reactive maintenance callouts within agreed service levels
- Supporting installation projects and system upgrades
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical/mechanical faults
- Working closely with clients, customer service teams, and operational colleagues
- Managing van stock, parts ordering, and job reporting through internal systems
- Conducting site surveys and supporting ongoing operational improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance (essential)
- Background in access control, plumbing, pneumatics, or data cabling (desirable but not essential)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good IT literacy and ability to complete digital reporting
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
