Contract Temporary Works Design Engineer - Flexible Working Available
Our client is a well-established UK-based multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivering structural, civil, and mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse range of construction projects.
Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced Contract Temporary Works Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing and assessing temporary works solutions, producing structural calculations and technical documentation, and delivering safe, practical, and buildable engineering designs in line with current standards and best practice.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Proven experience in temporary works design.
Experience using STAAD or other structural engineering analysis and design software (e. g.
Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis, Master Series, or similar).
Strong knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design.
Familiarity with British Standards, Eurocodes, and temporary works procedures.
Ability to work independently and deliver projects to programme.
