Roc Search's client have a new opening for a Senior Production Test & Development Engineer to join their team based near Burton-on-Trent. This is a full time, permanent position requiring you to work on site 5 days per week. Please note candidates must have a full UK Driving license and access to their own vehicle for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving production test capability across the business, and will own the day-to-day operation of the test laboratory, ensure production test equipment is reliable and effective, and develop practical test solutions, jigs, fixtures and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 8 + years' experience within manufacturing
  • Experience in a production test, manufacturing engineering, test engineering or development engineering role
  • Electro-mechanical experience is a necessity
  • Hands on experience with electro-mechanical assembly
  • Experience maintaining and improving production test equipment
  • Experience designing, building or modifying jigs, fixtures, test rigs, or production tooling
  • Experience with CAD software - Solidworks preferred
