Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

Responsibilities
- Set up CNC milling machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, including Solid Works for design interpretation.
- Operate CNC mills to produce parts with high precision, adhering to detailed engineering drawings and technical requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using hand tools, gauges, and measurement devices to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adjust machine parameters and tooling as needed to optimize performance and maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Support additional manufacturing processes such as grinding, welding, or assembly when required, especially in plastics injection molding applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as Solid Works and CAM programming tools for toolpath generation.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and tool wear management.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and various hand-held measuring instruments.
