We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Doctor to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality care to patients in need. This Urgent Care role, is a leadership role that combines clinical and non-clinical duties. This is a new role in the organisation, which current provides primary care and secondary care services, inclusive of same day urgent consultations. As an Urgent Care Lead Physician you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive prompt and efficient medical attention for acute, urgent and non-life-threatening conditions during our one stop consultation diagnostic access service. You will be responsible for diagnosing and management of a wide range of urgent (acute and non-acute) medical issues, from minor injuries and common illnesses to complex medical problems all based in an Outpatient Diagnostic and Treatment centre. You will work alongside primary care, secondary care, nursing and imaging staff. As a Clinical Lead, you will be involved in the set up of the service, ensuring clinical guidelines, workflows and escalation pathways are in place and a robust system of staff training and clinical governance is established, monitored and reported on. Minimum 5 years of experience in an emergency/ urgent care department setting. We are looking for someone who is experienced in urgent care setting, confident and enjoys fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care. This Urgent Care post is available for a General Practitioner or a Staff Grade/ SAS / Specialist Grade professional/ A&E Consultant. The role is available on Full Time basis (40 hours a week), Monday to Friday, within the hours of 8am and 8pm. ROC is a Designated Body and we offer continuous professional development, annual appraisals and revalidation. We are able to provide sponsorship for immigration purposes if required.
