We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our experienced multidisciplinary team for 4-5 sessions per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who enjoys working collaboratively, values continuity of care and wants to be part of a practice that remains ambitious about the future of general practice.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide high-quality NHS primary medical services whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding outcomes for patients.

The post holder will be expected to contribute positively to the culture and values of the practice, demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, accountability and a commitment to working constructively with colleagues across all disciplines. Patient care is at the centre of everything we do. We believe that providing clinicians with appropriate consultation time, strong multidisciplinary support and effective governance systems enables the delivery of excellent general practice.

Person Specification

Experience

  • Experience of working within UK General Practice.
  • Ability to independently assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Evidence of safe and effective prescribing practice.
  • Experience managing clinical risk and uncertainty appropriately.
  • Ability to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
  • Experience within a GP training practice.
  • Experience supervising trainees, students or other clinicians.
  • Experience leading quality improvement projects.
  • Experience within multidisciplinary or integrated care teams.
  • Experience supporting service redesign.

Clinical Knowledge and Skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based medicine and NICE guidance.
  • Strong consultation and communication skills.

  • High standard of clinical record keeping and documentation.
